Emergency Stain Removal - 30min response time aids success
Well I had a callout today for Magenta Ink stain removal from a canon ink cartridge. This is one of the more difficult stains to remove, but I'm glad to say that it was almost completely removed. So feint you could only see it if you knew exactly where to look. Tough job and very time consuming, but the customer was very happy with the finished result. Phew!
Success, was helped to a large extent by the prompt action of the customer telephoning immediately it had happened. I advised the customer to keep the area damp, but not soaking wet to stop the ink drying out. I was there within 30 minutes and after an hour working gently on the stain so as not to ruin the texture of the loop pile carpet.

Customer's Landlord Was Most Impressed Today.
Cleaning rented offices in the centre of Norwich today for Ingleton Wood.
The landlord of these premises also owns, and works, in the offices next door. He looked through the glass door that divides the two office spaces and was really impressed by the quality of our work on what had been a very severely soiled carpet. He was so impressed that he came through and asked me for a business card.
It had been thought that the company renting these offices were going to have to replace the carpet tiles, but I'm glad to say that it looks like we've saved the day. Also I'm expecting a call from the landlord to ask me quote for carpet cleaning in the rest of the offices. Not exactly sure how big a job this would be, but it is certainly over three floors.
Well, all in a normal days work.

CUSTOMER: I Tried to Remove Wine Stains but it's now Worse and Turned Brown.
Well I'm glad to say that this was another successful outcome on Tuesday.
I suspect that the customer over wet the carpet, whilst trying to remove rose wine stains from her carpet. This probably caused the jute colour to wick up through the carpet causing an even more ugly stain on her pale wool carpet.
With the use of a combination stain removers and a specially formulated bleaching agent, I was able to completely lift the stain from the carpet. I will admit that as the stain was already two days old, it was a bit touch and go, but I got there in the end.
If you should accidentally spill red or rose wine, or tea or coffee on your carpet it is important to get professional help immediately, as once the stain has been allowed to dry, the odds of complete removal is severely reduced. This is why I run a callout service. I can advise you what to do until my arrival and this will contribute to a successful conclusion.

Oh No, Rust Stains on My Carpet!!!
On Tuesday, I successfully removed two old rust stains from a wool carpet. We can't promise to completely remove rust spots from carpets, but it's nice when it works this well.

Question: Can you remove paint from a carpet?
A customer rang me yesterday, desperately trying to save his carpet after spilling a whole can of emulsion paint over it. He spent two days with a Vax machine and loads of 1001 carpet detergent but the white paint was still visible. I'm glad to say that within two-and-a-half hours I had removed the stain despite the fact that it was already two days old, cleaned the rest of his carpet to match, and all for just £45. He was so pleased that he is going to get me back to do his stairs and he has also passed on my details to his Mum with a recommendation.

Tried out the Ninja Carpet Cleaning Machine Today - Pretty Awesome
I had a Ninja hot water extraction machine loaned to me yesterday. With it's twin inline vacuum motors, the pick-up is quite amazing. I just about put my back out trying to lift in and out of the van though. And as for trying to get it up and downstairs, that is a most precarious operation.
If I bought one of these, I might have to go for the more powerful 400psi machine with a remote control and a 50m hose, which would mean I can do a whole house with the machine still on the ground floor.
I need £2,500 though. Anybody?
